We are now offering Extended Enrollment for our Annual Program until January 15!

The information below is for dancers wishing to late register for virtual classes or in-person for those classes that have not reached in-person capacity. For any questions or additional information, please email [email protected] or call 212-457-0035.

Classes will run through June, culminating with a performance for friends and family. Dancers of all levels and ages can register for Ballet, Tap, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, Musical Theater, Jumps and Turns, Breaking, and Acro!  In addition to working on technique each week, our dedicated faculty strive to nurture and develop a young dancer's creative side.

COVID-19 UPDATE:

BDC Children & Teens Annual Program will now be offered in two options: In-Person and Virtual.

In-Person Option: In-person classes will run at a limited capacity at no more than 8-10 dancers per studio. If a class exceeds 10 dancers, the class will be divided into two groups where each group is set on a bi-weekly schedule, alternating in-person and virtual. In-person dancers are free to opt into virtual-only classes at any point in the season as your safety is our top priority.  

Virtual Option: Cameras will be set up in each studio for a virtual-only option. Virtual dancers may be able to opt to in-person at varying points in the season depending on current class capacity.

Broadway Dance Center will be following all safety protocols and guidelines given by the CDC. Specific protocols and guidelines will be emailed to enrolled families. Trial Class Policy

Are you trying to decide which class to register for? If you are still undecided, we invite you to participate in a virtual trial class!  Try a class of your choice virtually for a fee of $35.  If you decide to then register for that class, your trial fee will be deducted from your tuition!

If you are interested in a virtual trial class, please call our West 65th Street Studios at 212.457.0035 or email [email protected] or [email protected] to inquire. Due to safety and health concerns, no walk-in registrations will be allowed.

No trial classes will be permitted after January 15, 2021. No trial classes are permitted for any class that is not open for extended enrollment. Please see schedules below for more information on available classes.

2020-2021 Tuition

*All prices subject to change. We accept most major credit cards. 

*Multi-class discounts are calculated per student

If you select the monthly payment plan, payments are processed on the 1st of each month. If your dancer drops a class or the program after January 15th, 2021, you will be charged for the following month's tuition. You must notify the CTP staff via email at [email protected] (W45) or [email protected] (W65). If no notification is given when dropping classes, YOU WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ENTIRE TUITION PAYMENT.

No refunds, for any reason, will be given after January 15th, 2021.

LATE FEES

If tuition payments are not received by the 15th of the month, a $40 late fee will be added to your account balance.

REGISTRATION FEES

There is a $50 registration fee for all NEW students.

Taking annual classes at both locations? We will honor the tuition discount if your dancer is taking annual classes at both locations. The discount will be applied to the location at which your dancer is taking the fewest classes.

Payments

All payments will be set to Autobill on the first of each month. We accept Mastercard, Visa, or American Express for online autopay.

ATTENDANCE POLICY

Our annual program is a commitment through June. To best support your child’s training, CONSISTENT ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED.

• Students are allowed a total of 3 absences for the entire season. If more than 3 absences occur during the dance season, you may be asked to withdraw from the program.
• Absences include school testing, religious commitments, illness, family events, etc.
• Students are required to attend the 3 classes leading up to the showcase.
• Students are required to attend the Showcase dress rehearsal in June.
• If your child has a planned absence, written documentation must be emailed to [email protected](W45) or [email protected] (W65) prior to the event.
• For their safety, your child will not be able to participate in class if they arrive more than 10 minutes late for an hour class or 20 minutes late for a ninety-minute class. They must observe the class and take notes. This will be strictly enforced.

It is imperative to your child’s success that this program is viewed as a serious commitment.

Professional Children Attendance Policy
Children who work professional jobs are allowed a total of 6 absences for the season. If absences exceed six, they will be asked not to participate in the showcase, but may continue classes. Written proof documentation of the job must be given to Allie Beach prior to the job’s start date. The 6-class extension only applies to documented jobs. Absences for auditions are discouraged.

Make-up Class Policy
Annual students are entitled to two virtual make-up classes for the season. Parent/Guardian must email [email protected] (W45) or [email protected] (W65) to coordinate a virtual make-up class. All virtual make-up classes must be scheduled within two weeks of the missed class and be in the same genre and level of dance as the original class.
