Kyla Hull Children & Teens Bio

Kyla Lanae Hull (she/they) was born and raised in Forest, Virginia where her life in dance began. In May 2020, she graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and minor in Tourism and Events Management. She has trained under Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, BODYTRAFFIC in Los Angeles, Project H[u]mans in Brazil, and many notable commercial choreographers in NYC and LA. Some of her accolades include performing at The Kennedy Center, dancing works by choreographers such as Andonis Foniadakis, Kyle Abraham, and Robert Battle, working for the British Association of Teachers of Dancing, having her own choreographic work presented in DC, and more.

She is a dancer for both Cat Cogliandro and Hayden J. Frederick in their respective companies, does work in the diversity, equity, and inclusion field for a national organization, and is excited to be joining the BDC Children and Teens family!
