WELCOME TO THE PROGRAM

Children & Teen Program This year Broadway Dance Center is celebrating its 25th anniversary of excellence in dance education, and whether you are a new or returning student, we welcome you to an exciting 2009-2010 season of dance! Our 32-week program promises to offer the finest all-around dance program for your child, with a wide variety of class options, an abundance of additional opportunities, and the highest quality dance training that only New York City and Broadway Dance Center can provide.

This year we are thrilled to announce new programming in addition to our 32-week course: we are also offering several shorter, less time-consuming workshops and intensives for those students who cannot commit to the 32 weeks of our regular program, or those CTP students who seek additional training. The workshops, offered in a variety of dance styles and levels, are available to both CTP students and those not enrolled in our regular classes.

Emily Robinson has been working with the BDC’s Children & Teen Program since moving to NYC in 2001. She attended the University of Alabama and Marymount Manhattan College. As a dancer, teacher, and director, Emily is thrilled to be sharing her love and knowledge of dance with all those she comes in contact with. She is currently a member of Handcart Dance Company.

Allie Beach is excited to be in her fifth year as Co-Director of the Children & Teen Program. She received a B.A. in Communication Arts with a focus on promotional and professional communication from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City, and a Masters Degree in Media, Culture, and Communication from New York University. Allie is currently a member of Handcart Dance Company in New York City.
