Connor Gallagher is a New York-based choreographer and director. Raised in Clifton Park, NY, he received a BFA from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Immediately after graduating he was cast as the carpet in the final Broadway company of Disney'’s Beauty and the Beast. He also received a Carbonell nomination for the role of Bobby in The Boyfriend at The Maltz-Jupiter Theatre.

Connor first received acclaim as a choreographer for the New York Musical Theatre Festival production of Fat Camp for which he received the award for outstanding choreography. The production was directed by Alex Timbers. He went on to choreograph the 2011 production, directed by Casey Hushion. Recent credits include the first national tour of Elf, which will have two companies in 2013 with stops at the Kennedy Center and Chicago; Bunnicula, a musical by Charles Busch (Off-Broadway and national tour); The Fabulous Lipitones (Goodspeed Musicals); as well as workshops for The Roundabout Theatre Company and Theatreworks USA.

Other notable work includes Perez Hilton Saves the Universe (director/choreographer, Fringe, Encore, and Joe’s Pub) ; Peter Pan and Chicago (director/choreographer, Northern Stage); Spidermusical (The Mint); The York Theatre; Lincoln Center; The Riverside Theatre; La Comedia’ Revision Theatre; Broadway Cares; and the Gay Games. On film Connor has choreographed commercials for Glidden Paint, Luxxotica Eyewear, and legendary underwear line Hanky Panky.

He was season two director and choreographer for the musical web-series The Battery’s Down, created by Jake Wilson. As an associate Connor most recently worked as Assistant Director and Choreographer for the 2012 Public Theatre production of Into the Woods in Central Park at the Delacorte Theatre starring Amy Adams, Donna Murphy and Denis O’Hare. The directors for the production were Timothy Sheader and Liam Steel. Connor has worked as associate choreographer on the new national tour of Disney’'s Beauty and the Beast since 2010 with original Broadway choreographer Matt West.
