Ray Hesselink is a performer, choreographer, writer, and the Artistic Director of N.O.W. DANCE, featuring new and original works for the theater by up-and-coming choreographers. As a performer, Ray's favorite performances include originating the role of "Bud" in Batboy: The Musical and a recurring role on USA'S "Up All Night" with Rhonda Shear. As a dancer, Ray recently created the role of Mr. Happy in Derick Grant's "Imagine Tap!"
Ray has also been featured as a principal dancer in Nayikas, a classical Indian Dance Company. Ray choreographed and performed in Because of You: An Evening of Tap Gratitude at SWING 46 in Manhattan, featuring new and original works inspired by tap artists past and present.
