The Knicks City Dancers are Keeping the Rhythm of New York as they celebrate their 19th year in the Garden spotlight. The KCD captivate audiences with their electrifying combination of athletic routines, unparalleled talent and classic style. In the 2010 season, the KCD will continue to enhance the Knicks experience for fans through world-class dance that reflects the energy and diversity of New York.

 

Coached by former member, Danielle Mimnaugh, the KCD have worked with famed choreographers in the entertainment industry such as Sheryl Murakami, Laurie Ann Gibson, Cicely and Olisa of NuStylz and Dan Karaty.

 

Off the court, the Knicks City Dancers have appeared on a variety of television programs, including Live with Regis and Kelly, The Late Show with David Letterman, Good Day New York, Good Morning America, MTV TRL, Pros vs. Joes and Sex and The City. KCD Dancer Courtney Galiano was one of the top four finalists on the hit dance show So You Think You Can Dance last summer. The KCD also have made high-profile, NY-centric appearances at events such as the ING New York City Marathon, the Puerto Rican Day Parade, Dominican Day Parade, Columbus Day Parade and the Dance Parade.
