The Knicks City Dancers are as New York as New York gets. Celebrating their 16th year in the Garden spotlight, the KCD captivate audiences with their winning combination of high-energy routines, unparalleled talent and high fashion style. In the 2006-2007 season, the KCD will continue to be a fan favorite and a focal point of the Knicks Basketball Experience.

Off the court, the Knicks City Dancers have appeared on a variety of programs, including "The Late Show with David Letterman", ABC’s "Good Morning America", MTV’s "Road Rules" and "TRL" and HBO’s "Sex And The City." In Winter 2006, you will even see the KCD featured in an ESPN SportsCenter commercial with announcer John Anderson. They have also made high-profile appearances at events such as the New York City Marathon, the Puerto Rican Day Parade, Pali Poker IV and Diddy’s Birthday Party in NYC. The KCD have also graced the cover of Dance Spirit Magazine and were highlighted in King Magazine, Gotham Magazine, and the New York Times Arts & Leisure section.

The KCD are very active in their community by providing opportunities for fans and hopefuls to dance in their shoes and experience the hustle and bustle of New York City. They recently kicked off the "Knicks City Dancers NYC Experience", daylong summer clinics providing aspiring dancers with the chance to work with the squad and some of the best choreographers in the country.

Also, for the past five years, the KCD have partnered with the Cheering For Children Foundation to share their dancing skills with inner-city kids every week. This program culminates in May with a recital at the World’s Most Famous Arena for the students’ family and friends. In the coming year, the KCD look forward to conducting an even more impactful dance program, in conjunction with the Foundation’s expanded commitment targeting kids in crisis, under the Foundation's new name, " Garden of Dreams."
