Michele Oliva is originally from southern Italy. He began his studies of classical and modern dance in the city of Bari, and then eventually moved to Rome to study various modern techniques. He perfected his studies in dance centers around the world — New York, Los Angeles, London. Between 1999 to 2003 he was a dancer for Geri Halliwell and Kylie Minogue. He was subsequently involved as assistant choreographer and dancer in a popular Italian television program” Amici”, which was a huge success. He currently teaches numerous workshops in Italy and in Europe, is the artistic director of the company, Pantarei, and composes contemporary choreography for many Italian companies.
