Teddy Tedholm is rapidly gaining recognition as one of the most exciting new talents in dance. The unique style of movement and obvious love of dance that mark his performances have also made Teddy a widely sought-after choreographer and teacher.
Teddy has worked at some of the finest dance studios in North America and around the world, including the Millennium Dance Complex and EDGE Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles and at New York City's famed Broadway Dance Center. In Los Angeles, he performs with Erica Sobol's CollidEdance company.
In 2013, Teddy graduated with honors from the University of the Arts, under the direction of Donna Faye Burchfield. While in Philadelphia he produced much of his own work, including eleven:eleven, a full-length show that received great reviews. His outstanding work at UArts earned him the university’s Stella Moore Prize for four years of achievement in dance.
After graduation, Teddy was nominated for a World Dance Award in the category of Best Choreography Concert/Live Performance. Most recently, he was chosen as a finalist in the 2014 Capezio A.C.E. Awards. Teddy currently resides in New York City, where he continues to develop and present new work.
