As a dancer, Brian Thomas, also known as "BT," toured & danced with many commercial artists including: Michael Jackson, Mya, Mylene Farmer, Ricky Martin, Mylene Farmer, Usher, Pink, Deborah Cox, and Brian McKnight to name a few.

Brian started teaching at BDC in 1999 and choreographing cabaret shows, industrials, and other television events including: Are we there yet? (TBS), Electric Company, Sesame Street (multiple episodes/years, Emmy recognition), Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, Chippendales NYC & Vegas, Fuse TV w/Jason Derulo, Reebok, Wella, Time Warner, Wondergirlz, HBO, NYC Knicks Dancers, SNL, Miracle on 34th Street 1999 & 2000, and finally Michael Jackson's 30th Anniversary Special (Emmy Nomination for choreography).

In 2002, Brian got bit by the Musical Theater bug choreographing and dancing beside Liza Minnelli for her come back tour Liza's Back which opened in London at the Royal Albert Hall & NYC at the Beacon Theatre with original music by Fred Ebb and John Kander.

As a video and live stage director, Brian is always bringing stories to life, creating interest and wonder. In his new class Musical Theater Fusion, he plans to do just that, adding an element of interest and story to his choreography using traditional works with new ideas.
