Katie Wilson Stewart is a New York City based dancer, singer, actor, and choreographer.  She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater and Dance Performance from East Carolina University.  Katie is also a proud graduate of the Broadway Dance Center Training Program.

Katie recently returned from the national tour of Kathleen Marshall’s Anything Goes as Dance Captain/Swing. Some favorite regional credits include Chicago (Velma), Urinetown (Hope Cladwell), The Boy Friend (Masie), and Footloose (Urleen). She is also a core company member and guest choreographer for ALMA NYC, a nonprofit, performance-based collective comprised of dancers, singers, actors, musicians, and visual artists. ALMA NYC is devoted to serving local and international philanthropic organizations while fostering its artists and creating community, and Katie has been fortunate enough to contribute to the organization’s growth since its inception in 2011 as a founding member.

Katie also has the privilege of studying with, assisting, and performing for many of BDC’s esteemed faculty, including Richard J. Hinds, Sheila Barker, Greg Zane, and Jim Cooney.
