Katie Wilson Stewart is a native of Asheville, N.C. and a graduate of East Carolina University, where she received her BFA in Musical Theater and Dance Performance. Katie is also a proud graduate of the Broadway Dance Center Training Program.

While at Broadway Dance Center, Katie assisted and performed for many of BDC's esteemed faculty, including Jim Cooney, Richard J. Hinds, and Sheila Barker.

Katie began her performance career as a singer/dancer on Holland America Cruise line before moving to NYC. She is a founding member and guest choreographer for the New York based Alma Dance Company. Favorite regional credits include Chicago (Velma), Urinetown (Hope Cladwell), The Boy Friend (Masie), and Footloose (Urleen). This fall, Katie will join the national tour of Anything Goes as Dance Captain.
