Actor/Choreographer/Model describes the multi-talented Yannus Sufandi. Born in Java, Indonesia, Yannus grew up in Australia and travels the world in pursuit of his dreams.
His credits include as a Choreographer for: “So You Think You Can Dance" Australia and Malaysia Season 1 and Season 2 also was a Guest Judge, Guest Presenter for the TV show “One Million Dollar Dance Battle” on MTV Taiwan, Choreographer for the ”Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards” Australia, ACN australian Flash Mob, Raymond Weil, and many corporate events. Choreography for TV Commercials 7UP, Sony Ericsson, Peugeot 206, Samsung, High 5 Bread, choreography for FINK, an Australian feature film and choreography for stage performances and music videos for unsigned artists to signed artists from Sony Music, Warner Music, Universal Records and many others.
Yannus has also worked with Michael Rooney for 3 Old Navy's tvc, he's one of America’s top choreographers of TV commercials and stage performances!
His acting credits include: Fidelio, Aida, Lady Mcbeth of Mtsensk, Tales of Hoffman, Julius Caesar, Turandot and Madama Butterfly Opera - all performed at the iconic Sydney Opera House. Yannus has also featured in few short films and he is the leading actor in many TV Commercials including: U Mobile, Telstra "Next G", Nippon Paint, 7UP, Samsung Mobile Phone, Old Navy’s, KFC, SBS TV, TM Net and Munchy’s.
Yannus has performed with touring productions such as Rumba 2002 Australian Tour and Martell VSOP Malaysian Tour, 2002 and 2004, Vietnamese Pop singers australian tour 2009, Yannus has performed live on stage for televised productions such as the Aria Awards (Australian Music Awards) 2002/2004, Urban Music Awards and OZ Music Awards.
He has performed in support acts and promotional tours for 2001-02 Destiny’s Child Australian Tour, Black Eyed Peas Promo Tour, Pharrel Promo Tour, Fatman Scoop and Mis-Teeq Promo Tour.
He has performed for world leaders at APEC 2007 (held at the Sydney Opera House), for the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards 2006/2007, as well as corporate performances for Coca Cola, Visa, Microsoft, Adidas, Vodafone, Martel VSOP, EA (Electronic Arts), Castrol Edge, A1 Grand Prix Australia, Nike, Philips just to name a few.
