Cesar Valentino has been dancing for 45 years, and began vogue dancing in 1983. In 1988, he quickly became a fixture in the underground ballroom and club scene where he won several coveted trophies. Cesar was also featured in one of the first ever articles about voguing in the Village Voice and in the documentary The House Of Tres (Directed by Diane Martel). Class Descriptions

Vogue

Students will learn the fundamentals of traditional Vogue dancing, classic runway, posing and current Vogue trends with special attention paid to the dances rich history. Classes begin with a contemporary jazz warmup and will target core muscle strength with a focus on the grace and precision of the technique.  Cesar Valentino brings his unique experience as Master Voguer to his class with the goal of building confidence, strength, posture and body positivity in a celebratory environment. Whether an experienced dancer or absolute beginner, the class is open to all levels and has something for everyone. Students are encouraged to bring high heels but it is not mandatory.
