Native New Yorker Deborah Y. Wilson has been a choreographer, performer and dance teacher for many years. Her vibrant, fun, and energetic style engages dancers in a way that will train them for future careers in dance.
Deborah's teaching and choreography style is Commercial Jazz — Jazz technique with a funky edge, using today’s dance moves and pop music. It is a mixture of dance styles you see in commercials, TV shows, movies and music videos from around the world.

Deborah teaches the importance of having discipline and classroom etiquette, as well as performance techniques for auditions that she has learned and used throughout her many years of auditioning and performing.
Debbie's fun, sassy style and dynamic choreography will encourage dancers to focus on musicality, acting and performance. Her choreography ranges from sharp, funky and hard-hitting to soft, groovy, and elegant, with a focus on clean lines and movement. This class will help dancers build confidence whether it's for themselves or for the stage and auditions. Shoes are mandatory.
