Please choose one or more of the following classes:
Ballet/Tap Combo (1hr 15 min class) builds upon rhythm and musicality, elementary to intermediate ballet and tap skills, weight shifting, and imaginative movements referencing animals and nature.
Hip-Hop (45 min class) focuses on the popular urban style of dance. Class work consists of a cardio and strength building warm-up, stretching and developing a vocabulary of steps and combinations.
Dancers must be 7 /8 by December 31
Ballet focuses on the foundations of proper body alignment, technique, and vocabulary. In this class dancers develop flexibility, coordination, and confidence. Int-Adv classes require attendance at placement class.
Jazz incorporates foundations of proper body alignment, technique, flexibility and classic jazz dance vocabulary with an upbeat rhythm-based style. Int-Adv classes require attendance at placement class.
Musical Theater Dance (^) builds on the fundamentals of jazz technique while adding elements of acting and storytelling in the classic Broadway style.
Tap combines rhythm and coordination to make music with the feet and body. Students will learn the basics of tap technique and musicality.
Hip-Hop focuses on the popular urban style of dance. Class work consists of a cardio and strength building warm-up, stretching and developing a vocabulary of steps and combinations. Intermediate level classes are for dancers with 2-3 years of experience.
Breaking is a style of street dance which focus primarily on four types of movement: top rock, down rock, power moves, and freezes. This class combines fundamentals of these skills with hip-hop foundations.
Jumps & Turns (+) builds upon classic ballet and jazz technique with a focus on across the floor progressions to build skill and understanding of leaps, turns, and floorwork.

Jazz incorporates foundations of proper body alignment, technique, flexibility and classic jazz dance vocabulary with an upbeat rhythm-based style. Requires attendance at placement class.
Musical Theater Dance (^) builds on the fundamentals of jazz technique while adding elements of acting and storytelling in the classic Broadway style.
Tap combines rhythm and coordination to make music with the feet and body. Students will learn the basics of tap technique and musicality. Saturday classes require placement unless noted as All Level (AL).

Acro incorporates elements of both jazz and acrobatics instruction focusing on flexibility, tumbling, strength, and technique with an upbeat rhythm-based style (#)Acro I does not participate in end of season showcase.
Lyrical (+) is a style that builds upon a foundation of classical ballet technique with an emphasis on finding freedom in the movement. Dancers focus on understanding the dynamics and initiation of the movement along with a sense of breath, musicality, and connection to a story.
Jumps & Turns (+) builds upon classic ballet and jazz technique with a focus on across the floor progressions to build skill and understanding of leaps, turns, and floorwork.
Contemporary (+) is a fusion of ballet, modern, and jazz technique that incorporates artistry and improvisation to create unconventional shapes, dynamics, and musicality.
Latin Jazz is a high energy class where students explore the rich diversity of traditional Latin dance styles through movement and rhythm.
VIEW 45th & 65th 32-WEEK SCHEDULE
Students ages 7+ registering in Intermediate or Level 2 and above classes must attend placement in order to confirm their enrollment. Placement in appropriate/required levels will determine if they will continue in all classes selected.
Class placement is based on the evaluation—not prior level—and is determined at the discretion of evaluators and Program Directors.

The schedule is the same Saturday & Sunday for your convenience. Please attend one day or the other. It is not necessary to let us know which day you are attending.
