Our Summer Session runs from July 11th through August 19th for ages 8-17. In addition to working on technique each week, our dedicated faculty strive to nurture and develop a young dancer's creative side.

There are three Summer Sessions running from July 11th through August 19th. Each session is 2 weeks long. You may sign up for one or all sessions!

SUMMER SESSION CURRICULUM
Ages 8-11
Dancers must be 8 by Jul 11, 2022
Ballet focuses on the foundations of proper body alignment, technique, and vocabulary. In this class, dancers develop flexibility, coordination, and confidence.
- Jazz incorporates foundations of proper body alignment, technique, flexibility, and classic jazz dance vocabulary with an upbeat rhythm-based style.
- Musical Theater Dance builds on the fundamentals of jazz technique while adding elements of acting and storytelling in the classic Broadway style.
- Tap combines rhythm and coordination to make music with the feet and body. Students will learn the basics of tap technique and musicality.
- Hip-Hop is a fusion dance genre that combines a variety of freestyle movements. Class work consists of a cardio and strength building warm-up, stretching and developing a vocabulary of steps and combinations.
- Contemporary is a fusion of ballet, modern, and jazz technique that incorporates artistry and improvisation to create unconventional shapes, dynamics, and musicality.
Ages 12-17

- Acro/Flexibility incorporates elements of both jazz and acrobatics instruction focusing on flexibility, tumbling, strength, and technique with an upbeat rhythm-based style.
- Jumps & Turns builds upon classic ballet and jazz technique with a focus on across the floor progressions to build skill and understanding of leaps, turns, and floorwork.
- Contemporary is a fusion of ballet, modern, and jazz technique that incorporates artistry and improvisation to create unconventional shapes, dynamics, and musicality.
- Acting for Dancers will focus specifically on performance techniques for the dancer. The students will learn how to be present and bring intention, storytelling, and musicality to their movement. Students will also work on ensemble building and performing as a group.
- Intro To Vocal Performance will consist of a 4 part process: Technique, Pitch & Vocal Drills, Repertoire, and Stage Presence. Throughout the course, students will learn breathing techniques, ear training, vocal scales, drills, rifts, diction, and tone. They will also work on performance and phrasing and finding their own unique vocal style.

TUITION & FEES
Save up to 15% by taking multiple sessions!

10-18 classes receive a 5% discount
20-36 classes receive a 10% discount
40+ classes receive a 15% discount
DRESS CODE
All dancers should be in solid black attire for all classes. Black leotards and pink or skin-toned tights are also acceptable for the ballet classes. Dancers should bring footwear that corresponds to the style they have registered. Payment will be charged upon completion of enrollment.
We accept Mastercard, Visa, or American Express. No refunds or credits for missed classes.
LATE POLICY
For their safety, your child will not be able to participate in class if they arrive more than 10 minutes late for an hour class. They must observe the class and take notes. This will be strictly enforced.
