Mecca Vazie Andrews’ credits include American Apparel, Bedtime Stories, Rent, "MTV Movie Awards," Hysterica Dance Company, VH1's "Showgirl Bootcamp," "America’s Best Dance Crew," City Opera, LA Contemporary Dance Company, and Sony Industrials. Major publications such as Dance Magazine, The Los Angeles Times, dazed and confused, Rolling Stone Magazine and Papermag.com have featured Mecca and her work.

Some of her most recent artistic partnerships have involved Lady Gaga, Ke$ha, MEN, Alexandra Burke, MUSE, The Slits, Marco Antonio Solis, VUM, Todd Edwards, Jeremy Jay, La Philharmonic, Center Theatre Group, Phil Soltanoff, and the Santa Monica Museum of Art. In 2009 she completed an extensive residency at Phillis Stein Art Gallery.

Her company mecca v.a and the MOVEMENT movements installation piece Creature Comforts (an experimental dance piece) was exhibited in Jane Glassman's, In Bed Together at Royal T Gallery. In addition to being a freelance dancer/choreographer for documentaries, film, stage and music videos, mecca vazie andrews is a part-time instructor for Loyola Marymount University and Crossroads Elementary ACE Summer Program. Mecca currently teaches for Los Angeles Contemporary Dance Company and Edge Performing Arts Center.
