Acting Class Bio

Lane Napper is a professional Acting and Dialogue coach. Lane has taught Acting Workshops all over the United States training children and adults, beginners and advanced students, Broadway to Hollywood with his fun, yet professional Acting style and techniques. Many networks have hired Lane directly so that he can work with some of their clients. Some of them include: Warner Bros, Touchstone, Nickelodeon, CBS, Discovery Channel, Disney and Fox-TV. 

Lane's knowledge of timing, pacing, cameras, angles and “shots”, has made him one of the most sought after and coveted Acting Coaches on the scene today. His background in television and film have helped him develop a keen eye and insight to bring a performers work to another level. His work ethic (not only behind the lens but in front of the camera) have helped him to develop a dialogue and nurturing manner that works great with Singers, Actors, Dancers, and Movers of all levels. 

Lane’s training can be seen by present/former students in the Broadway productions of Kinky Boots, Matilda, The Sound of Music, Mary Poppins, Pippin, The Lion King, Newsies, The Color Purple, Billy Elliott, and many, many others. His training can also be seen by present/former students in television on such shows as Law and Order, Drake and Josh, The Americans, Zoey 101, Victorious, iCarly, Kraft, Macy’s, JC Penny, Spider-Man, and many, many others…

Lane is a proud member of the Academy of Television of Arts and Science and has truly established himself in many facets of show business.

Theater Class Bio

Some of you may recognize Lane Napper from the hit television show, Victorious where he plays Lane Alexander, the school's hip and zen Guidance Counselor. Or you might know him as Ernie, Sam's former dance instructor in the tap dancing episode of iCarly. But did you know Lane was also a Television and Stage choreographer? 

Some of Lane’s Theatrical credits include the regional Productions of West Side Story, Pippin, Grease, and Mr. Bojangles. Lane has also choreographed the tour of Freckleface Strawberry The Musical, based on the beloved New York Times Best Selling book by celebrated actress Julianne Moore. Some of Lane’s television choreography can be seen on shows such as, Game Shakers, Henry Danger, Sam and Cat, Victorious, iCarly, Drake and Josh, Zoey 101, Suddenly Susan, and Nikki. Some of Lane’s clientele include Warner Bros., Touchstone, Disney, Discovery Channel, Nickelodeon, and Broadway, to name a few. Because of his many hours of television choreography Lane was admitted into the Academy of Television of Arts and Science as Choreographer and Director. Lane has truly established himself in many facets of show business.

Lane has also directed and choreographed numerous music videos.

Currently Lane is choreographing the TOUR for the Korean Kpop group EXP, America’s FIRST American made Kpop Boy Band.
