In Studio Group Services Offerings

BDC welcomes groups year-round and offers discounted rates for arranged group visits. Group Services is here to facilitate a stress-free experience for every group leader! With a wealth of dance resources at our fingertips, we’re certain we can offer your group the dance experience only BDC and New York City can provide.

BDC is pleased to offer the following options for customizing your groups experience. And if you don't see something you're looking for, don't be afraid to ask! We will do our best to accommodate your requests.

DROP-IN CLASSES

Choose from BDC's regularly scheduled drop-in classes. More than 350 weekly classes offered.

PRIVATE MASTER CLASSES

Schedule a private class just for your group at any time and date of your choosing.

EXCLUSIVE BDC EXPERIENCES

BDC has exclusive partnerships with the world-renowned Radio City Rockettes® and The Verdon Fosse® Legacy LLC.

A: DROP-IN CLASSES

Our extensive drop-in class schedule offers more than 50 classes a day in a variety of levels and styles! Please visit our daily class schedule to learn more. If you need assistance with our schedule, a Group Services representative will be happy to discuss which classes and teachers will be right for your students. Please review the Level & Experience Guide to assist you in placing your students appropriately.

We recommend all Groups register at least one month in advance and no later than 72 hours or students may not receive discounted class rate.

Age Requirement

Our drop-In classes are restricted to students ages 13 and up. There are a handful of teachers in each discipline that may choose to accommodate students between the ages of 10 and 13. A private master class is ideal for groups with dancers under 13.

B: PRIVATE MASTER CLASSES

Private classes are a more intimate environment where your students will receive personalized attention. Each master class can be designed for any age and skill level. There is no age limit for private classes making this a wonderful opportunity for your younger students.

We recommend all Groups register at least three months in advance and no later than one month prior to scheduled date of class. Booking with less than two weeks notice will warrant an express booking fee.

*We know you might be heading to the Great White Way to enjoy today’s most notable Broadway shows. Set up a master class with accomplished Broadway performers and give your dancers the opportunity to see first hand what Broadway is about!

Do your students dream of dancing with a Radio City Rockette®? Make that dream a reality at BDC!

Private Fosse® Master Class:

Your students will have the class of a lifetime as they learn iconic Fosse® rep from Fosse® veterans.

RATES FOR DROP-IN CLASSES

EFFECTIVE JAN 1, 2020 *rates effective for all bookings made after December 31, 2019

WE RECOMMEND REGISTERING AT LEAST ONE MONTH IN ADVANCE

We ask all Groups taking Drop-In Classes complete the registration at least 72 hours in advance and wait to receive email confirmation. Reservations made without 72 hours advance notice will not receive the Group discounted class rate.

PAYMENT

Group leaders are encouraged to pay in advance. This will allow us to sign your students into class, reserving their spots — a great perk of being a #BDCGroupie! Students may not pay individually.

RATES FOR PRIVATE MASTER CLASSES

Class Rates subject to change at any time.

15 or FEWER DANCERS
$550
Based on 90 minute class
For a two hour class it is a standard rate of $650

16 - 40 DANCERS
$35per dancer
Based on 90 minute class
For a two hour class it is an additional $10.00 per dancer

41 or MORE DANCERS
$32per dancer
Based on 90 minute class
For a two hour class it is an additional $10.00 per dancer

There are no additional charges associated with private lessons.
One and Two hour privates also available.
Observers are welcome to attend, and booking/arrival assistance will be provided at no additional cost.

WE RECOMMEND REGISTERING AT LEAST THREE MONTHS IN ADVANCE

Please register at least three months in advance and wait to receive email confirmation. Reservations made without ONE MONTH advance notice are subject to an express booking surcharge.

PAYMENT

Payment is due in full no later than two weeks before the scheduled class. After that date, any subtraction of students will not be reimbursed.

PRIVATE MASTER CLASSES CANCELLATION POLICY

Your group will be reimbursed the full amount of the private lesson if you cancel a reservation at least seven (7) days prior to your arrival.

If your group cancels between 1-7 days prior to your scheduled class date, you are subject to a cancellation fee per private lesson as noted below:

15 or fewer dancers: $200
16-25 dancers: $250
26-45 dancers: $300
46 or more dancers: $400

There are no refund for cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance.

Methods of Payment

Group Services accepts cash, personal or business checks, traveler’s checks, wire transfers, and credit/debit cards (Master Card/Visa, AmEx, Discover)

Refunds

All refunds for group drop-in classes are subject to a $50 administration fee. Upon approval, unused classes are good for one year and only available to group students.
Private Mater Classes are subject to above cancellation policy.
