Holly Ryder

Holly Ryder is an NYC based instructor and choreographer focusing mainly on contemporary movement and improvisation. Her formal training began where she grew up in Atlanta, GA, and continued at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.

Since becoming certified as a yoga instructor, she has developed a class that emphasizes body awareness and transitions from yoga based warm-ups to full improvisational movement and phrase work. She is a current faculty member of Alpha Dance Convention and is the curator of her own South Florida based workshop series, The Dive, which provides dancers with in-depth time to learn from top industry professionals and creators. Her own teachings have taken her around the country as well as Mexico, Costa Rica, Guatemala and Canada. She feels lucky to be able to spread her love for movement exploration to dancers both regionally and nationally.
