Registration for the 2020-2021 season will begin on June 10th at 12pm EST for returning students and July 1 at 12pm EST for new students.
Student class placement is based on the evaluation and not prior level. Placement is determined at the discretion of the evaluators and directors.
Registration is required before attending placement. Placement in appropriate/required levels will determine if the dancer will continue in all classes selected. If the level requirement is not met after placement, students may not be able to continue in certain classes.
Please view our Schedule page for placement dates and times.
Placement class is NOT necessary for beginner students, those under the age of 7, and anyone enrolling in beginner level classes. Beginner students may register for any (age appropriate) Beginner or Beginner/Intermediate classes.
If your class requires placement, it will be noted on the schedule and also when you register.
Any ballet and jazz class that is 1.5 hours, ages 10+ must attend placement.
Both new and returning students are required to attend placement if his/her class requires it.
Dancers will be notified of placement levels via JackRabbit Portal no later than September 12th.

The average class size has 18 students. We must have a minimum of 6 registered students in order to hold a class. If there are less than 6 dancers registered the class will become a Semester Class.
If a class exceeds 10 dancers, the class will be divided into two groups where each group is set on a bi-weekly schedule, alternating in-person and virtual. In-person dancers are free to opt into virtual-only classes at any point in the season as your safety is our top priority.
Occasionally, classes may exceed 18. These are generally in our more advanced levels for older students. Classes for ages 3-6 years have an average class size of 15 students.
Our annual program is a commitment from September-June. To best support your child’s training, CONSISTENT ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED.
It is imperative to your child’s success that this program is viewed as a serious commitment.
Children who work professional jobs are allowed a total of 6 absences for the season. If absences exceed six, they will be asked not to participate in the showcase, but may continue classes. Written proof documentation of the job must be given to Allie Beach prior to the job’s start date. The 6-class extension only applies to documented jobs. Absences for auditions are discouraged.
Annual students are entitled to two make-up classes for the season. Parent/Guardian must email [email protected] (W45) or [email protected] (W65) to coordinate a make-up class. All make-up classes must be scheduled within two weeks of the missed class and be in the same genre and level of dance as the original class.
Are you trying to decide which class to register for? If you are still undecided, we invite you to participate in a trial class! Come try a class of your choice for a fee of $35. If you decide to then register for that class, your trial fee will be deducted from your tuition!
In order to ensure a quiet learning atmosphere and environment where our students can concentrate without distraction, observers are permitted to watch from our monitors in the lobby.
Should you have any questions regarding your child’s class or training, you may always email or call us.
We end our Annual season with a captivating showcase at a prestigious New York City Theater. The showcase gives students the chance to display what they have learned throughout the year. All students are expected to participate in the Showcase.
There are additional fees for Showcase and each costume due in December.
