Ness Martinez was born and raised in the Bronx. He began dancing at the age of three at a local community center. There was no formal training at this community center, just passion for the art. At the age of nine, he began technical/ professional training with Anthony Rodriguez, a Latin/Contemporary choreographer. Ness booked his first job as a Knick City Kid, dancing at Madison Square Garden. At age 13, Ness was accepted into Talent Unlimited High School, focusing on Ballet/ Modern technique. During this time, he learned how to develop choreography both in school and under the guidance of mentors, Anthony Rodriguez and David Gamboa. Ness began teaching straight out of high school. It was then that he realized his passion was not only for performing the art, but enlightening others about the art. Since then he has been able to work and perform for a wide variety of people and companies. His passion has brought him to opportunities with Prince William and Kate Middleton, K-Pop icon BoA, I-Luminate, and more. He now teaches at various locations throughout New York City with I Love Dance and Urban Dance League at BDC.
